东南网澳大利亚站9月19日讯（本站记者 林佳慧）9月17日上午，班克斯选区的联邦议员David Coleman MP（大卫·高民）在位于好市围（Hurstville）的中心俱乐部举办了一场极具中国特色的“庆中秋”早茶活动。联邦财政收入和金融服务部长Kelly O’Dwyer（凯丽·欧多尔）、前好市围市议员刘娜心受邀与近200名当地华裔居民共同参加了本次活动。

Kelly O’Dwyer部长发表讲话，她表示十分荣幸能受到David Coleman议员的邀请来参加本次中秋活动。中秋佳节是中国传统的团聚之时，也是共享月饼等美食之际，它传承了中华传统的文化及信念。她指出，好市围市华人社区的成长壮大，必将进一步推动中澳友好关系的发展以及经济贸易上的交流往来。

活动上，主办人David Coleman为到场参加活动的居民提供了与中秋佳节相应的传统美食——月饼。他在致辞中称，十分荣幸能在多民族文化社区举办这场有意义的活动，与到场的宾客共庆中国传统的中秋佳节。同时他也表示，非常感谢今天出席参加活动的Kelly O’Dwyer部长，和澳洲小考拉乐团及薇薇安舞团带来的精彩表演。希望今后每一年的中秋佳节都能与社区华裔居民共庆团圆。

中秋活动在精彩的中华传统文艺表演中顺利落下了帷幕。

Federal MP David Coleman Celebrates Moon Festival with Chinese Community

On the morning of 17th September, the Moon Festival With Morning Tea And Chinese Cultural Entertainment Party was held by David Coleman MP, Federal Member of Banks at Hurstville. The Hon Kelly O’Dwyer MP, Minister of Revenue and Financial Services, and Nancy Liu, Former City Councilor of Hurstville, attended the event together with around 200 residents.

‘It is wonderful to have all of you to come up this morning, I am very appreciated.’ Said by Mr. Coleman, ‘it is a fortune to work in such an area with different groups. Mid-Autumn festival is important to Chinese people; it is also a way to pass on the love, and families gathering culture.’

    Ms O‘Dwyer also revealed her honor to be invited to this event. ‘Moon Festival is such a special festival which is all about love, and families. In addition, the moon cake is very delicious.’
